We began the journey just over a decade ago when a local family decided to open a theater that would support good clean family fun for visitors to Holmes County. The shows quickly grew in popularity and began to earn recognition on a national level. The year 2018 was a special part of this journey as the new facility opened as an 81 room Inn, 600 seat theater, and 500 seat banquet hall at one location located at the Schrock Heritage Village in Berlin, Ohio!
Guests can check into the beautiful new hotel featuring a 20 ft. high atrium lobby with rustic décor, exposed beams, fireplaces, and a large area to relax and listen to live music. The theater, hotel, and banquet area are all connected for easy indoor access! The hotel stands 7 stories high with awesome countryside views!

All Quacked Up!
Thursdays and Saturdays
Prepare yourself for a side-splitting, quacktastic good time with “All Quacked Up,” one of the new comedy variety shows from The Amish Country Theater! This show is overflowing with laughs, surprises, and the kind of outrageous fun that’ll keep you chuckling long after the night is over.
“All Quacked Up” brings back everyone’s favorite country bumpkin, Lynyrd, whose larger-than-life personality and farm-fresh antics will have you roaring with laughter. The nearly-famous parody song-singin’ duet, The Beachys, are ready to harmonize their way into your hearts and deliver plenty of unexpected laughs along the way.
And the hilarity doesn’t stop there! Our world-renowned, award-winning ventriloquist Kevin Johnson (as seen on Disney Cruise Lines, Late Night with David Letterman, and America’s Got Talent) is ready to amaze with his quirky puppets and sharp wit, creating a riot of comedy that’ll leave you wondering, “How’d he do that?”
Plus, get ready to tap your feet and sing along with the incredible vocal stylings of our talented singer, Donnie Abraham, whose smooth voice adds a musical twist to the evening’s antics. Add some extra “spice” from our surprise variety acts, and you’ve got yourself a real hum-dinger of a show!

Get ready for a barn-bustin’ good time with “Haystack Hilarity”—one of our brand-new comedy variety shows. This laugh-out-loud extravaganza is family-friendly, full of surprises, and guaranteed to leave you in stitches.
Leading the pack is everyone’s favorite country bumpkin, Lynyrd, whose down-home charm and outrageous antics will have you laughing till your sides hurt. The nearly-famous Amish comedy duo, The Beachy Boys, return with their signature blend of Amish humor and quirky tunes that’ll have you cracking up faster than you can say “butter churn.”

We’re thrilled to present Ohio Star Theater’s first original production, The Road To Damascus, a spectacular show brought to life with the creative expertise of our team. From breathtaking set designs to colorful costumes, live animals, and captivating lighting, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to take you back in time. Through powerful performances and moving storytelling, The Road To Damascus tells the transformative story of Saul, later known as Paul, whose journey from a zealous persecutor of Christians to a devoted follower of Christ offers a powerful narrative of redemption, faith, and inner conflict.

ABOUT A CHRISTMAS CAROL
This brand-new musical retelling of Charles Dickens’s holiday classic follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by three spirits on Christmas Eve. They take him on a tour of his past, present, and future in order to change the man he is into the man he must become. The lushly orchestrated Broadway style score by Steve Parsons and witty lyrics by John Popa breathe new life into the beloved tale.
