Back by popular demand, the Amish Country Theater will once again host the show that makes everyone Amish on St. Patrick’s Day!  Enjoy musical parodies by the Beachy Boys, hijinks by Cousin Lynryd, and of course the fabulous voice of Donnie Abraham, renowned ventriloquist Ken Groves, and lots of fun audience participation set to an Irish theme!  Wear your green and be prepared to laugh and sing along!  Other great events can be included throughout your day

Enjoy a Spooktacular show at the Amish Country Theater with a fun Halloween spin!   All your favorite Amish Country Theater players will TREAT you to a show filled with fun music, hilarious comedy skits, renowned ventriloquist Ken Groves, and lots of fun audience participation!  Dress up in your favorite spooky costume to win prizes, and enjoy more fun events such as trick or treating in Berlin, hayrides and scarecrow decorating, candy making with Lydia Troyer, and a hauntingly beautiful tour of the Victorian Mansion in Millersburg!

Canton Christmas Celebration!  November 12th 7 pm 13th 2 pm

Enjoy a two- hour musical variety show at the gorgeous historic Canton Palace Theater featuring the John Trapani Big Band Orchestra along with Jay Spencer on the Kilgen Pipe Organ, local choral and dance groups.  Vox Audio will delight you with their acapella talents to kick off the holiday season!  The Palace was built in the 1920’s and is one of the few remaining atmospheric theaters in the US with stars and clouds in the night sky overlooking a Spanish theme courtyard.  Friday night show 7 pm and matinee show on Saturday 2 pm.   Call for complete tour package featuring a delicious dinner or lunch stop, Harry London and Heggy’s Candies, shopping at the Hartville Flea Market, Petitti’s Garden Center, and more!

A Christmas Story! Available anytime of year

We all know and love the holiday movie favorite A Christmas Story!  The movie was released in 1983 with most being filmed in Cleveland!  We will visit the famous Christmas Story House in Tremont chosen due to it’s blue collar neighborhood with steel mills in back round.  Tour the home, see the famous backyard, and take in the museum across the street filled with costumes, memorabilia, and of course the famous Leg Lamp!  Enjoy the gift shop filled with pink bunny suits, slippers, leg lamps, fudge, and more!  We will continue to beautiful historic Medina, Ohio and enjoy a delicious lunch at Miss Molly’s Tearoom and some free time to visit the shops in historic downtown.  Castle Noel will simply knock your socks off and take you back in time!  The museum showcases the world’s largest collection of holiday movie memorabilia from original costume and stage sets, to an entire replica slide from A Christmas Story!  Enjoy the gift shop filled with fun gifts and feature the fabulous carved ornaments by owner, Mark Klaus!  Make this an overnight event with other great local events and attractions along with unique dining and make and take events!

Cambridge, Ohio comes to life taking you back to Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol theme!   View over 180 life size characters from the Victorian era stationed along Wheeling Ave amidst many quaint boutiques and eateries in historic downtown Cambridge.  Enjoy a visit the Cambridge Museum of Glass for a fun interactive tour and finish the evening with a truly spectacular light display on the Guernsey County Courthouse!  Combine with many other great local holiday events for multiday experience!

Deck the Halls!  Available Nov. 29-Dec 30th  Thursday-Sunday

No holiday event in Ohio stands out like the annual Deck the Halls event at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens in Akron, Ohio!  The largest private home in Ohio, the mansion was built in 1911 by founder and CEO of Goodyear Tire, Frank Seiberling.  The 65 -room Tudor style mansion comes alive with holiday splendor with over a million lights throughout the 70- acre estate!  Enjoy a walking tour of the mansion bedecked in holiday splendor, beautifully lit grounds, and Dazzle Light Show set to choreographed holiday music.  Walk down Gingerbread Lane, visit the Conservatory filled with poinsettias, and enjoy treats in the Carriage House Courtyard featuring hot cider and warm gingerbread cookies!  Combine this spectacular evening event with a meal at Papa Joes Italian Bistro, city tour of Akron, a visit to the amazing Don Drumm Studio and Gallery, and other awesome area attractions!
